POSTPONEMENT ANNOUNCEMENT OF HOSPITAL INDIA 2007 :
PDA TRADE FAIRS regrets to advice that Hospital India-2007 that was scheduled to be held from the 13-15 December 2007 at the Kanteerava Stadium, Bangalore, India stands postponed.
We, PDA TRADE FAIRS believe that any Trade Exhibition can be successful if & only if it provides ample scope for converting the sectors Business potential into commerce. Needless to say achieving this objective is entirely dependant upon attracting a sizeable numbers of exhibitors relevant to the market being addressed & a critical mass of audience relevant to the same.
In fact the event had a National Advisory Council consisting of eminent experts from the health care Industry in place for the very purpose of guiding the content of the show & steering the progress. We were convinced of attracting the right profile of visitors & delegates to the event due to the support of these council members.
However, as far as stand sales are concerned, although quite a few large Multinational companies have confirmed their participation along with a few companies from China, unfortunately, very few other companies have confirmed bookings. During our marketing process we also gathered from the Industry that, the dates of Hospital India viz: 13-15th December 2007 was not ideal since the dates were too close to the CSI conference & the Anesthesiology conference. The feedback from the industry strongly suggested that we should rethink our show dates.

Were we to go ahead with an event of this size it would be very unfair on visitors, who in many cases travel long distances & plan schedules much in advance to visit a trade fair. Likewise, it would also be very unfair on the few exhibitors that have confirmed participation & we are sure they would feel short changed.

Over the last 15 Years, we PDA TRADE FAIRS have built very successful sector specific exhibition brands that are today acclaimed as the best for the region. This we have achieved because we have constantly, edition after edition delivered what we promise both the exhibitors & the visitors. As a policy we are not prepared to go ahead with any trade fair that would compromise our promised delivery to either the exhibitor or the visitor. In addition we also do not wish to compromise the stature of the Patrons & the members who had kindly agreed to back the show.

Therefore, in light of the above stated , with much regret, we announce the postponement of Hospital India 2007 to a more conducive date in 2008. We will intimate you shortly of the new dates.

We deeply regret any inconvenience we may have inadvertently caused to the stake holders in the sector who were looking forward to the event.
